Hello visitor! Welcome to fluffles.net. This site is all about bringing ideas together, exchanging knowledge and tickle our brains. Please read the following to get an idea what we would expect from you, in order to create an atmosphere all can share their opinions and ideas.


Rule #1: show respect
Respect, what does that actually mean? It means you care for others and will leave room for them to express their opinions and interact with them in an honourable way. Respect also means that you accept that other people are different and have other (political) views than you.

The whole purpose of this site is to exchange and discuss opinions. If you don't have the patience or skills to deal with that, then this site is not for you. This is very important to understand. If you come here, then you should prepare for discussion and diverse opinions. If you love to discuss about interesting topics and exchange opinions; you've come to the right place!

Rule #2: always keep a friendly atmosphere
Fluffles.net promotes the discussion of interesting topics in a friendly atmosphere, that is: you are not flamebaiting, trolling or otherwise annoying others. Doing so undermines the purpose of this site. When an atmosphere becomes hostile, you will find that the discussion is more about who is right. This will never add to the curiosity, informational and explorational value of a discussion. So when you participate in a discussion always keep a friendly tone, that also is showing your respect!

Rule #3: use arguments in your opinions
Don't just state your opinion; explain why! A discussion does not exist when people would just state their opinions; only when you interact with others'. Ask questions, explain what you believe and bring solid arguments to back up your opinion.

Rule #4: No clones
You are allowed to only have one account on Fluffles.net. That is, one account per person. If you're sharing your connection with family or friends, they can have an account too. Clones are multiple accounts owned by the same person. When we suspect this is the case, we will disable them. If abuse continues, then it's possible your IP-address will be blocked, disallowing you and others on the same internet connection access to this site. Fluffles.net also uses advanced security measures to track the use of proxies, to prevent and counteract abuse quickly.

Rule #5: Anonymous proxies are prohibited
This site does not allow for stealth "anonymous" proxies to be used. If you do, you might get banned. Anonymous proxies are often used to do bad things. If for any special reason you have to use such a proxy for legitimate reasons, please contact me directly. The use of normal proxies (i.e. the one from your ISP) is allowed.


It goes without saying that other abuses will be dealt on a per-case basis and our judgment is always final, even if it conflicts with the text above.
